Experience:
1993 to present: Watercolor Artist and Teacher:
Taught watercolor at the Schemer
Art Center and in her studio.
Painting daily in watercolor, acrylics and oils. Texture
and abstracts are
currently her focus.
Is a frequent demonstrator for local art associations
and workshops.
1970-1992: Porcelain Artist and Teacher:
As an internationally known porcelain
artist and teacher she has exhibited
and taught workshops for students and teachers in
34 states and
9 foreign countries.
Instrumental in developing and introducing a One
Fire technique now
universally used.
Received numerous awards and exhibited and sold her
art in galleries.
Had photos of her art along with many articles published
in art magazines.
Authored, published and marketed several books on
porcelain painting.
One was Color for the Porcelain Artist
and is in its third printing and
widely used today.
Developed and marketed a unique line of porcelain
paints and oils. Designed
a line of brushes and printed studies for students and
teachers.
Associations:
Former Board Member for the International
Porcelain Art Teachers. Set up
the current competition program.
Former member of the Minnesota Porcelain Artists and
the Minnesota
Porcelain Art Teachers Association.
Currently Hold Memberships in:
A.W.A. (Arizona Watercolor Association),
juried member.
A.A.A. (Arizona Artist Guild), juried member.
C.W.A. (Contemporary Watercolorists of Arizona), signature
